Providing 14 – 19 year olds with access to qualifications, practical activities and employability / wider key skills (including ASDAN approved qualifications, functional skills, first aid and health & safety)
Over 3,000 young people every year participate in HBEP organised activities that develop their personal / key skills required to enter the world of work
BEP enterprise activities provide students with challenges that promote skills in problem-solving, team membership and leadership, initiative, adaptability, risk taking and decision-making. In developing these skills, students gain increased understanding of what processes are involved in the initiation and development of a business enterprise idea; which helps them to develop vision and creativity for their future lives
Placements organised by HBEP into business and industry for teachers and support staff designed to support Continued Professional Development (CPD). Whilst on placement, teachers are able to gain first hand experience of the latest working practices.
