The programme is designed to give students an opportunity to develop key and employability skills by gaining first hand experience of the work place. The placements are generic rather than vocational.
The EBP ensures all placements conform to relevant legislation specifically around Health & Safety and Risk Assessment. Employers receive information and support throughout the placement process. Each student receives a work experience diary to record their experiences.
Students develop business awareness, key and employability skills by
direct experience of the world of work. All students who satisfactorily complete their work experience receive certification.
